Hi, I’m Sophie, a wedding and family photographer based in Buxton, surrounded by rolling hills and endless inspiration.
With over five years of experience behind the camera, I’ve had the joy of seeing my work featured in multiple magazines (even landing a front cover)! I’ve also worked with several well-known brands and agencies before discovering where my heart truly lies: capturing those real, joy-filled moments that matter most!

My approach is all about comfort and connection. I believe the best photos come when you feel completely at ease, laughing, playing, and forgetting the camera is even there!
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me enjoying the simple things, chasing my little one around a soft play, sipping coffee at a local café, or hiking the hills around Buxton with my dog by my side. These moments remind me why I do what I do... Life moves fast, and photos are our way of holding onto the magic a little longer.

Sophie is absolutely amazing! She always listens to what we want on our shoots and always kills it! She is great at communicating and keep us updated about when the photos will be ready and is always willing to go above and beyond. From very beginning to the end she is a very professional, proactive and organised as well as a fabulous photographer. Was great in advising and directing models as well as time management.
