Cozy Christmas Mini Sessions in the Goyt Valley

Last year I decided to take a little bit of a risk and move my Christmas mini sessions outdoors, choosing the beautiful Goyt Valley in November rather than using a traditional indoor Christmas setup. I wanted the sessions to feel natural and give families plenty of space to move around and most importantly, let the children simply be themselves.

Each family had 20 minutes giving them plenty of time to embrace all the excitement of Christmas. I wanted the sessions to feel more like a fun family adventure rather than a traditional photoshoot. Afterwards, each family received 10 fully edited digital photographs to remember it by and use for Christmas cards!

The photographs shown here are some of my favourites from the sessions, shared with kind permission from the families who took part. I absolutely loved creating these Christmas memories in one of my favourite places in the High Peak and hope to bring them back again in the future!
