A Cozy Autumn Ceremony
There’s something so special about an intimate wedding, and this day at Bakewell Registry Office was the perfect example. With just their parents, grandparents and son, who had the very important job of being their best man, the day felt incredibly personal and wholesome from start to finish.
The couple wanted to keep their photography simple too. They only wanted a handful of photographs at the registry office to capture the most important moments before heading to Chatsworth House for a celebratory meal with their family. My aim was to capture the photographs they would treasure and then disappear, giving them the freedom to enjoy the rest of their wedding day together.
Being right in the middle of autumn made the setting even more perfect. The beautiful orange and golden leaves around Chatsworth added such a cosy feel to their photographs and we made the most of them for some relaxed portraits together. I loved how naturally everything came together without needing to overcomplicate things.
Their wedding was the biggest show that sometimes having just the people you love most, a beautiful setting and plenty of time to just enjoy being married is more than enough!
