I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding styled shoot at The Crescent in Buxton for local bridal boutique Blossoms of Buxton, showcasing their new in-house collection of wedding dresses. It was such a lovely day working alongside a talented team of local wedding suppliers and some brilliant new and upcoming models.
The shoot certainly came with some challenges! Taking place during the June 2026 heatwave, temperatures reached over 33 degrees! Harsh sunlight can be one of the trickiest conditions for wedding photography, but by working with the light and making the most of the beautiful surroundings at The Crescent, we managed to create some images that I'm genuinely so proud of.
It was also lovely to work with some new local faces, including Olivia Clarke, Miss United Kingdom Teen 2026. Seeing the dresses brought to life by such a talented group of people made the whole day feel so special! I loved being part of a shoot celebrating local wedding businesses and the incredible talent we have here in Buxton.
Styled shoots like this are always such a great opportunity to experiment creatively, meet other local suppliers and create beautiful wedding inspiration for couples planning their own day. Despite the heat, this was a day I'm so glad I got to be part of!
A beautiful day at The Three Horseshoe Inn, Staffordshire, celebrating this beautiful couple and their lovely family!.
A beautiful winter wedding collaboration at Hargate Hall with an amazing team of local suppliers.
